Principal's Message

It is certainly a matter of pride to be a part of Government Degree College, Seethanagaram, which is located in the serene atmosphere beside the holy river, the Godavari. The college was established in 1983 with B. A and B.Com Courses. The Science courses were introduced in 2016. Our primary aim is to provide infrastructural facilities like laboratories, library, classrooms, playground and Sports equipment for the holistic professional development of our students. 

Our experienced and dedicated teaching faculty go beyond the curriculum to provide our students valuable insights which are required in real life. The faculty believes in perfection that exists in each student and which can be manifested through right guidance. There is a spark of intelligence in every student but it has to be kindled by a teacher. We try to imbibe in our students the value of courage, honesty, curiosity, team work, dignity of labour which can shape their personality.

We specially seek cooperation from parents and community in this Man Making Project towards a better society. We thank parents and guardians for choosing our college as a dias for their children’s future and hope. Constructive suggestions from our respected parents, well-wishers and academicians will take us higher on the ladder of success. Let us work together for a better society.
