OBJECTIVES:
- To provide advanced knowledge and practical experience in commerce.
- To develop in students employable skills for job opportunities the field ofcommerce and business.
SPECIFIC OUT COMES:
- Identify industrial problems related to commerce and management and find solutions for them.
- Be able to work in taxation and any area of business.
- Organize and manage effectively business originations.
- It also makes a vital contribution to the economy, commerce and industry.
BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:
This "Government Degree College ,seethanagaram" was established in the year 1983. The department of Commerce was started in 1983.
The Department started withone group i.e.B.Com General.in 2021 B.Com computer sanctioned with intake of 30 seats. The department is equipped with well-furnished Computer lab, e-class room.
The Department has three teaching posts.To motivate the students for their future career in the industry, our department organizes industrial visit.
Taking the advantage of vicinity of industrial area, we also organize campus interviews for our students so as to get jobs in companies after completion of B.Com,
