OBJECTIVES

• Objective are thespecific and precise behavioural outcome of teaching particular topic in Mathematics.

• Develop the ablity to communicate mathematical ideas with precision.

Learning out comes are descriptions of the specific knowledge, skills, or expertise that specific will get from a learning.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:

         The Government Degree College, Seethanagaram was established in the year 1983.

The depnartment of Mathematics was started its functiong with the groups i.e.B.Sc., MPC in 2016& mpcs since 2021 with sanctioned intake of 30 seats. The department is equipped with well-furnished laboratory, e-class room. The Department has one  sanctioned post for teaching.  

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DEPARTMENT:

• To facilitate the  society  to have  a board, encompassing access to knowledge and Education ,and to assit individuals unravel deeper dimension

• Our curriculum includes challenging, innovative,students centered projects .

• Apart from the regular Mathematics courses, certain courses like certificate courses,personality development classes .

• Students & staff of department participate in the Community Service programlike Medicalcamp, Plantation program, AIDS awareness, Swachh Bharat,Vanam –Manam,etc.With the help of college NSS Unit.
